was supposed to go on a music tour of Slovenia and the Czech Republic, but
it was called off after 9/11. This left me with some disposable cash and a
certain amount of time. I’m not Croatian, but over
the years have had friends and co-workers who are C-Amer. I decided that if
I wanted to go anywhere, it would be the place they’ve always talkedabout —
Dubrovnik (probably for one week). I am trying to find other people who may
be going there around the end of May.
Could you please let me know if there is any way I can hook up with anyone
going at the same time? This is a once-in-a-lifetime for me and I’m very
hopeful. I’ve never gone out of the country by myself alone and would rather
not if I can help it. (I usually am in a music group…)
