FUSE. Pjer Zalica’s debut feature starts with a jolt – emblematic of the dangers buried beneath the surface of a small rustic village, where, two years after the civil war has officially ended, Serbs and Muslims try to live and work together. A dryly humorous tone as well as a shrewd sense of reality, even in the tragic legacy of post war Bosnia, balance this beautifully wrought political satire.
