| A, U Sisku otvoren poduzetnieki inkubator 25 septembar 2014 U Sisku je 24. rujna otvoren poduzetnieki inkubator. U bivšem željezarinom institutu otvorili su ga ministar poduzetni1tva i obrta Gordan Maras, gradonaeelnica Kristina Ikiae Banieek te osnivae i vlasnik Applied Ceramics d.o.o. Matt Darko Sertiae. Poduzetnieki inkubator je prva privatna investicija takve vrste u Republici Hrvatskoj i predstavlja jedan od inovativnih projekata tvrtke Applied Ceramics. ![]() Matt Darko Sertić rođeni je Si1eanin koji već više od 30 godina živi u Americi, ali je proteklih osam godina u Sisku sa svojim timom ostvario tri velika projekta AcEUR” osnivanje tvrtke Applied Ceramics, otvorenje kulinarskog instituta Kulin te konaeno poeetak rada Poduzetniekog inkubatora PISAK.
Projekt je realiziran sredstvima Applied Ceramicsa te uz potporu Ministarstva poduzetni1tva i obrta kroz program Poduzetnieki impuls 2013. u iznosu od 606 tisuća kuna.
Cijeli je projekt završen tri mjeseca prije planiranog roka te su kroz devet mjeseci implementacije i provođenja projektnih aktivnosti stvoreni uvjeti na inkubiranje poduzetnika. |

| A, U Sisku otvoren prvi kulinarski institut U Sisku je u zgradi u vlasništvu tvrtke Applied Ceramics otvoren kulinarski institut, pod nazivom Kul in. Mladen Volarić, 25. rujna 2012. Osnovna svrha osnivanja i rada Kul ina, u koji je Applied Ceramics reinvestirao 1,8 milijuna dolara dobiti iz poslovanja, kazala je direktorica Kul ina Ivana Peleš, jest usavršavanje i educiranje u širem području kulinarstva. Poeetne probne aktivnosti veae su održane kroz tri radionice usavr1avanja za 100-tinjak polaznika u oblasti slastiearstva, a uređenjem vlastitog prostora i definiranjem vi1e razina edukacijskih programa, od usavršavanja postojećih znanja i vještina do pravog studija kulinarstva i menadžmenta, stvoreni su i organizacijski uvjeti i smjernice za osnivanja Kul ina na razini instituta. ![]() Radi se zapravo o nastavku poslovne vizije i plodne investicijske aktivnosti u Hrvatsku Siščanina Matta. D. Sertica, odnosno Darka Sertića, osnivača u svjetskim razmjerima vrlo uspješne tvrtke Applied Ceramics, koja specijalnom obradom kvarca i safira, te izradom tzv. alumina keramike proizvodi specifiene dijelove za visokosofisticirane strojeve za proizvodnju mikroeipova.
