Miro Gavran's play "All About Men" translated into Estonian and premiered in Tallinn in Nov 2016

Miro Gavran’s plays have been translated into 38 languages! New Estonian, German and Slovak translations.

Miro Gavran’s play “All About Men” had its premiere in Tallinn, capital of Estonia in Vana Baskini Theatre on November 11th. Director is Eero Spriit, while main roles are performed by Janek Sarapson, Tarvo Krall and Raivo Mets. Translation into Estonian was made by Hendrik Lindepuu.

In this Gavran’s play three actors play five roles each in stories that mutually intertwine and in which author thematises male-female relationships and male friendships in modern time.
The first premiere of this play was in Trnava, Slovakia in 2006 and so far it had 16 premieres in theaters from Rio de Janeiro to Zagreb, Moscow, Prague and Krakow. It was translated into ten languages which helped promote this Croatian writer whose work was translated into 38 languages and whose plays had more than 300 premieres and 3 million viewers all around the world.

Miro Gavran on tänapäeva üks populaarsemaid Horvaatia kirjanikke, kelle mitmekülgse loomingu hulka kuulub ligikaudu 40 näidendit.
“Kőik meestest” on eluline, lőbus ja ootamatuid üllatusi pakkuv näidend, kus pőimuvad viis erinevat lugu ja viisteist tegelaskuju, keda kehastavad kolm näitlejat. Millised nad on, need meie kaasaegsed mehed? Kuidas nad elavad? Millest mőtlevad? Millised küsimused ja probleemid neid huvitavad? Mida nad mőtlevad armastusest ja kuidas armastavad? Kuidas nad suhtuvad seksi ja kellega unistavad seksida?
Paraku pole unistuste järgi elamine enamasti vőimalik, sest elu pisiasjad teevad omad korrektuurid. Ükskőik, kas tehakse head vői halba, ollakse aus vői silmakirjalik, kutsub see esile vastureaktsiooni. Armastust ei ole vihkamiseta, sőprust konkurentsita ega noorust vanaduseta.
“Kőik meestest” jutustab meile sőbralikult enesekriitilise loo meheks olemisest, mis toob suule muheda naeratuse, aga silmanurka ka härda pisara. Olgu kuidas on, aga ilma meeste striptiisita ei saa me seekord kuidagi hakkama.

DVIJE KNJIGE KAZALIŠNIH TEKSTOVA MIRE GAVRANA OBJAVLJENE U NJEMAČKOJ I SLOVAČKOJ
Ovih dana su Miri Gavranu objavljene dvije knjige kazališnih tekstova u  Njemačkoj i Slovačkoj.
U izdanju “University of Bamberg Press” u Njemačkoj u Bambergu objavljena je Gavranova knjiga kazališnih tekstova “SLADOLED PIVO” u kojoj su se našle dvije iznimno popularne Gavranove novije komedije “Sladoled” i “Pivo”. Dok prva tematizira odnos majke i kćeri kroz šezdeset godina, druga tematizira odnos oca i sina u jednako dugom razdoblju.

Oba je teksta na njemački jezik  preveo Tihomir Glowatzky, sveučilišni profesor iz Bamberga koji već godinama na tom uglednom sveučilištu  studente podučava njemačkoj gramatici. Urednik je Hans-Peter Ecker. U knjizi su objavljeni   teatrolološki i kritički tekstovi Sanje Nikčević, Zdenke Đerđ, Mire Muhoberac, Tomislava Kureleca, Dražena Stojanovića i Igora Weidlicha. Miro Gavran je do sada imao sedam  kazališnih premijera u Njemačkoj i Austriji, a objavljena su mu i četiri romana na njemačkom jeziku.
U izdanju Naklade JANA JANKOVIČA u Bratislavi u Slovačkoj objavljena je Gavranova knjiga DRAME I KOMEDIJE IV, u kojoj su se našli njegovi kazališni  tekstovi “Lutka”, “Pivo”, “Sladoled”, “Pacijent doktora Freuda” i “Papučari”. Sve je tekstove na slovački preveo i knjigu uredio poznati kroatolog i prevoditelj  Dr. Jan Jankovič. Bez sumnje je teško naći sličan primjer da nekom dramatičaru iziđu čak četiri knjige kazališnih prijevoda u drugoj zemlji  u prijevodu istog prevoditelja. A sve je počelo prije šesnaest godina kada je Jankovič objavio prvu knjigu Gavranovih tekstova. Ubrzo potom naš autor je postao najizvođenijim inozemnim dramatičarom u toj zemlji, a u Kazalištu JANA PALARIKA u Trnavi su mu organizirana i prva četiri GAVRANFESTA kazališna festivala na kojima su se igrale predstave nastale prema njegovim tekstovima.
Za očekivati je da će i ove netom objelodanjene knjige kazališnih tekstova Mire Gavrana naći svoj put do inozemnih scena.
Djela Mire Gavrana su prevedena na 38 jezika. Po njegovim tekstovima je nastalo preko 300 kazališnih premijera diljem svijeta, koje je vidjelo više od tri milijuna gledatelja. Miro Gavran je u proteklih četvrt stoljeća uvjerljivo  najigraniji hrvatski kazališni pisac u zemlji i inozemstvu
